Plan Your Trip to Tropicana Field

Tropicana Field

Capacity: 34,078     Opened: 1990

Need more cowbell? Then a trip to Tropicana Field to cheer on the Rays is in order.

What makes this stadium unique?

Tropicana Field is currently the only non-retractable dome in MLB. Fans can follow the 900 foot mosaic into the main rotunda that mimics old Ebbets Field. Smokers will enjoy the Cuesta-Rey Cigar Bar on Center Street. Near the bar is the Ted Williams Museum and Hitters Hall Of Fame. The Rays Touch Tank over the right-center field is filled with rays from the Tampa Bay waters. Fans have the opportunity to get up close and personal with the animals and feed them. The money raised from the food goes to the Florida Aquarium and the team’s charitable foundation. If a player hits a ball into the tank, the Rays donate $2,500 to the Florida Aquarium and another $2,500 going to a charity of choice of that player. Fans can enjoy an array of interactive games and activities on the Left and Right Field Streets. Look for the Topps Make Your Own Baseball Card on the Left Field Street, only $5 for a fun souvenir! After every Rays’ home run the Tropicana Pure Premium orange logo on the right field lights up and strobe lights blink through the catwalks in the dome. After a Rays’ victory, the typically white dome glows orange in celebration.
