No need to worry about the heat when you catch a game in the Valley of the Sun; Chase Field has a retractable roof and pool to keep you cool in the desert.
What makes this stadium unique?
Chase Field is a blend of old and new that wraps together for a great game time experience. Some of the modern amenities of this park include one of the biggest scoreboards in the country, a pool in center field, and a retractable roof that opens and closes on game days to its own music. The field has a “keyhole,” a dirt path connecting home plate to the pitcher’s mound and “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” is played on the stadium organ, both popular in the old time stadiums.
