New York Mets open up against the Atlanta Braves at 1:10 pm ET. Mets plan to honor former catcher, Gary Carter, who lost his battle with brain cancer in February before the game and will wear his #8 on the sleeve of their uniforms throughout the season.
Battle of Pennsylvania in Pittsburgh, as the Pirates host the Philadelphia Phillies at 1:35 pm ET. The park will debut new improvements including the Budweiser Bowtie Bar in right field and many concessions. Fans that can’t make it out to Opening Day should check out Buc Day on April 22nd against the Cardinals.

Chicago Cubs welcome in the Washington Nationals at 2:20 pm ET. Wrigleyville is sure to be bustling with per-game activities and those going to the game will notice the new scoreboard in right field and the Budweiser Patio. Don’t miss Bill Murray throwing out the first pitch!
Tribe time kicks off at 3:05 pm ET against the Toronto Blue Jays at Progressive Field. The Cleveland Indians are expecting large crowds due to the warm weather and excitement for this season’s team. Head to the Indians Rally Alley at 12:30 pm to mingle with fans and enjoy the Opening Day excitement.
Cap off Opening Day west coast action between the LA Dodgers and San Diego Padres at PETCO Park at 7:05 pm ET. This game was announced a sellout on 3/29/12, though some scattered single seats are still available. All fans will receive an Opening Day t-shirt and the first 25,000 will receive a 2012 schedule cling and Padres Decal.
