Save Money on Food, Hotels, and Sightseeing Using City Tourism Websites

Had a wonderful sister’s trip with Alex this past weekend in Kansas City to see the Royals take on the Yankees. We celebrated Cinco de Mayo at Kauffman Stadium and visited Busch Stadium in St. Louis Sunday on our way home. We even went up the Arch and lived to tell about it! Check the blog later this week for reviews of both Missouri stadiums.

For now, here is another way to save money on food, hotels, and sightseeing when you’re in town for an MLB game- city tourism websites. Each city’s website is full of recommendations on hotels and restaurants, and some even have a list of free activities for the family when you’re not at the ballpark. There are plenty of coupons and discount codes available to visitors, so don’t plan your trip without a visit to that city’s site. Just this past weekend, we booked our trip up the St. Louis Arch using the website and got free parking! Also if you have any questions on a location, public transit, or need a restaurant recommendation, there are numbers and emails to call for help.
