Cheap Baseball Tickets Via Team Email Alerts

Spent a beautiful day in Cleveland watching the Indians host the Marlins. They didn’t get the series sweep, but it was a great pitcher’s duel! The day was perfect- sunny skies and a cool lake breeze. Most of Progressive Field is shaded as well. It’s a real shame Tribe fans don’t come out for this team, they’re in first place and tickets are only $9! Tough crowd…

I’ll have my ballpark review up later this week, but today I have another way to save on tickets- sign up for deals and alerts for your team (or the team you want to visit) on the team’s website. Today I received an email from yankees.com telling me about a promotion they’re running until tomorrow called MasterCard Monday. The Yankees are offering up buy two get two on tickets to an upcoming series with the Royals. Not the greatest match-up, but a fantastic way for a family of four to see the Yankees for only $40! Besides ticket deals, the site also sends me a bunch of discounts on Yankees gear, which is pretty cool. Teams are making it easier to outfit the family and then take them out to the ballgame!
