Alicia grew up an avid sports fan, attending games from the early age of two. After graduating from The Ohio State University, she started her career in sports media working for a local radio station.
Eventually, she realized she preferred going to sporting events over producing them in a studio. In 2012 Alicia went to all 30 MLB stadiums and in the fall of 2015, she set the Guinness World Record for Fastest time to visit all NFL stadiums, seeing 32 games in 86 days. The summer of 2016 she was a brand ambassador for MLB’s Hall of Fame Tour which took baseball artifacts, interactive displays, and the world’s first traveling IMAX around the country.
For Alicia, experiencing new fan bases and traveling to cities around the country is equally as exciting as seeing a good game. Her Sports Bucket List is extensive and she plans on seeing as many live sporting events in as many venues as possible.
Pay it Forward
Roberto Clemente is one of Alicia’s favorite athletes largely for what he did off the field. Charity is a focus in Jesus’ teachings and should be a cornerstone in our lives. It doesn’t have to be a grand gesture- it could be a couple hours volunteering here and there, a small donation, or even as simple as dropping off something you made. Kindnesses add up!
If you have a cause near and dear to your heart- fantastic! Should you still be looking for a way to give back, here are the foundations Alicia supports. Please consider donating to one of them:
**Aside from Compassion, these are central Ohio-based charities, but if one of them struck a chord in you, check for a local chapter and get involved!**
